As has been the tradition over recent years, we decided to leave the sunny shores of blighty and escape to the continent for my birthday.

With Berlin still fresh in our memories, we started planning another trip, although this time to warmer climates... or so we thought. Our perceived miscalculation provided us with our first sight of snow in Italy; and plenty of photo opportunities!
