Background Information:

The Tiergarten contains several notable sculptures and sites of interest, including the four-tiered Victory Column, the Bismarck Memorial and several other memorials to prominent Prussian generals. Much of the Tiergarten has returned to its former glory with trees regrown creating a little oasis at the heart of the city between east and west. The Reichstag is situated with the Brandenburg gate at one end while the Zoo Hof is at the other. Other items to note are the numerous bullet holes dating from the war, ( A large Soviet Memorial now stands), and the only remnants of Albert Spears grand plans for Germania.
