About:
Nightlife in Rome was a lot more subdued, and generally involved a big meal and wandering all the sites we had seen in the day lit up at night. With Beer prices approaching the £4 mark, it was just as well. Even Haz got into the spirit of things and started trying the local cuisine. Something called a pizza? As you might expect food is taken quite seriously in Italy which went down well with Tony. Plenty of Parma Ham, Mozzarella, Pasta, Pizza, Veal and even Venison (tried by Haz) were all consumed. Even MacDonald’s was avoided the food, although still used for certain beverages.
