About:
Krakow town square is the largest medieval town square in Europe dating back almost 750 years. Dominated by the two main landmarks of the square, St. Mary's Basilica and the Sukiennice (Cloth Hall), the square is everything you imagine it to be. That said, sometimes less is more, and Poznan town square was easily a lot more quaint and picturesque. Although when the sun came out the Square looked a lot more inviting, compared with the streaming rain when we first arrived. Like many other town squares, Main Market Square in Kraków is known for its large population of Rock Pigeons. They seem to know when you’re about approach as they tend to dive bomb you!
