Hallo und willkommen!
With the knowledge that we had to be back to the Hauptbahnhof for 5.00am we set ourselves a 1.00am curfew on the Friday night. Not an easy task, that seemed to be harder the quicker the beers were sunk! Still we headed off to the East side of the Munich to an area called the Kultfabrik - Kunstpark ost, located next to the Ostbahnhof. Unfortuatley we exited the train station on the wrong side and spent 20 mins looking for a bar before asking a local taxi driver. After crossing the station things looked more promising as we tagged on to the masses of people heading towards the clubbing area known as Kultfabrik. Home to some 24 clubs and bars i'm told, the night just wasn’t long enough to sample them all. We ended up at a club called Willenlos which proved an instant hit, with a back catalogue of old 90's dance music being played! Unfortunately by the time the venue was in fall swing it was already time to leave. We promptly left at 1.00 with good intentions to back in bed for 1.30, too grab 3 hours sleep. Long story short, we eventually arrived back at the hostel at 3.00am just enough time to get an 1 hours sleep before having to get up at 4.20!
