Hallo und willkommen! With Tal looking forward to going his to his spiritual home, we jumped back on the U-Bahn and headed off to the Allianz Arena. Although similar to the Bullring (Selfridges ) from certain angles, the Allianz is an altogether more impressive structure. The stadium is a good 15 mins walk from the nearest S/U Bahn station, allowing us ample time to freeze ourselves again. As you might expect on a Friday lunchtime the ground was deserted bar a couple of shop workers selling inflated priced Bayern and TSV merchandise. The only major disappointment was the fact we missed the English tour by 25 mins. After much deliberation we decided to cut our losses and head back, although we did manage to get a couple of photos of the inside the ground, looking back through a turnstile. Hopefully next time there will be a home game on the Saturday!
