N.B - The final will be held at Elford Cricket Club on 31 July. If postponed the following week, 07 August.
- The dates in the table are only a suggestion, the games may be played at any point during that week, ensuring that the result is submitted by email (mark.rathbone@openreach.co.uk ) by the Sunday evening. It is up to the home team to organise the arrangements for fixtures. The venue can be swapped on agreement with home team. If a date is given by the home side the away side must adhere to this.
League Rules
- All players must be over 40 years of age on the date of the fixture they are playing in.
- Matches will be 20 overs per side.
- Each bowler may bowl a maximum of 4 overs.
- Matches must start before 6.30pm. (please try )
- 3 points will be awarded for a win.
- 1 point will be awarded for each team in a tie or a rained off fixture.
- In the event of rain reduced matches, games can be reduced to no less than 10 overs a side.
- If 2 or more teams are on equal points at the end of the group stage, the team who finishes higher will be decided on their results against each other.
- Home team to e mail result.
- Please note there are 2 dates with no fixture (10 and 17 July ) . These dates are for any prostponed fixtures due to weather (not for any team who cant get a team ). If we have a good summer friendlies can be played during these two dates. This is something I am trialling to see if more matches can be played.
- Any disputes Mark Rathbone from Elford will have the final decision.
