Pak Shaheen 1sts vs Elford 1sts

An 8 man 1 st XI held Pak Shaheen to a losing draw on the hottest afternoon of the year to date. Despite the lack of players, Elford showed plenty of spirit to avoid an almost certain defeat. Rich Collett 55* and Simon Smith 39* batted for 25 overs to save the game.

Sam Griffiths 51 and D Brownly were in good form the bat as the pair both scored half centuries, but despite their best efforts, the 2nds fell 69 runs short.
