Friday / Venerdi

Having travelled up the coast the previous day, we set off in the other direction to Maiori this time. A lot more modern and built up than both Amalfi and Positano, Maiori had much more of a local seaside town feel. Having found a ticket both for a boat back we were befriended by a local lad called Domenic, who was married to an English girl. He insisted and very kindly bought us a drink as soon as he realised we were also English. We proceeded to spend the next 20 mins talking about the world, before making a dash back for the boat. We spent our final afternoon back on the beach and watching Alan use his underwater camera to great effect!
