Despite the warnings of an Bus Trip along the Amalfi Coast, nothing quite prepares you for standing on a crowded bus, as it navigates its away along a winding cliff top, narrowly avoiding on coming traffic, 400 feet above the sea. Difficult enough, but add a leaking non functioning air conditioning unit into the mix, (which blew out hot air), its enough to make all but a few, feel quite unwell!
Having survived the 90 minute bus trip, and a 169 step climb to our rooftop villa , things started to pick up. Having finally dumped the suitcases, and finding my shorts, we could enjoy a 360 degree view of Amalfi from our apartment rooftop patio. Happy Days.
