Time to brave the bus again – however plenty of seats and a short distance allowed us to enjoy this one! We spent the morning mooching around Ravello, home to the rich and sometimes famous. Having found where Jamie Oliver was filmed eating a pizza, we wondered the backstreets, taking in the magnificent hilltop views it provides. Perched some 100ft above see level, its easy to see why this once rival to Amalfi is a favourite destination on the tourist map.
Having explored Ravello in the morning, I went where most mad dogs and Englishmen go in the sunshine; a long clifftop walk! A very hot experience with the only company being several thousand lizards!
